Summary

This Reference Article defines and explains the topic of the @Watermark control variable used by SENTINEL to add a watermark to label printing on top of an existing CODESOFT label designs.

Information

SENTINEL can impose a watermark on a existing label design using the @watermark control variable.  The control variable and the watermark value need to be added to the data transferred via the Input Plug-in in SENTINEL.

The control variable needs to use the following syntax:

@watermark=”[desired text of watermark]”

Examples

For example, if using the File Capture Input Plug-in method, the drop file may include something like this:

@watermark=”Sample Only!”

This will force a watermark on the label saying “Sample Only!”
