This Error Message Article explains the TEKLYNX CENTRAL error message “UMSS Error. Client is not connected” and details how to fix the underlying problem that caused it to appear.
During authentication into the Browser Interface into TEKLYNX CENTRAL (i.e. LABELNET), UMSS is not available to authenticate. In the case where we saw this message, the services were running and licensing look OK.
A restart of the server seemed to correct the issue but the exact problem resolved by the restart is unknown.
Issue Found: Windows 2008 R2 running TEKLYNX CENTRAL v4
