This article details the procedure to set the correct SQL Configuration Protocols to allow BACKTRACK to connect to the database.
Instructions
- Open SQL Server Configuration Manager (in All Programs / Windows SQL Server 2008 R2 / Configuration Tools
- In the left-hand navigation, go to SQL Server Configuration Manager (Local) / SQL Server Network Configuration / Protocols fro <Sql Server name>
- Make sure the following protocols and enabled:
- Shared Memory
- Named Pipes
- TCP/IP
