Local Print from TEKLYNX CENTRAL Browser Interface Is Very Small – TEKLYNX CENTRAL Problem

Symptoms

When using the Local Print feature in the browser interface in TEKLYNX CENTRAL, the resulting label prints at about one tenth the correct size. This happens even though the print preview looks fine.

Explanation

This can happen when using many Windows print drivers. TEKLYNX CENTRAL browser interface apparently triggers the print preview in these drivers on the server but Windows print drivers do not always translate well to the local machine.

Solution

One solution is to use TEKLYNX embedded drivers. If TEKLYNX does not have embedded drivers (e.g. an HP printer), printing to a PDF printer and then printing the PDF is said to work.
