This message indicates a problem with Local Print feature of the TEKLYNX CENTRAL Browser Based User Interface – BBUI. The Local Print send print jobs from the TEKLYNX CENTRAL server through the BBUI to a local printer. Typically this is a printer that is not connected to the network and, instead, is connected direct to the PC via a local port. Examples:
The ‘log file’ mentioned in the error message is the SENTINEL log. However, we have seen examples where SENTINEL does not product an error.
The easiest solution we have found, so far, is to reinstall the TEKLYNX CENTRAL Client Plugin.
A local copy of the TCClientPlugin.msc needs to be run with Local Admin privileges.
