Delete Imported PDT Records Directly From the Database – BACKTRACK Instruction Article

This article explains how to delete imported PDT records directly from the database without using BACKTRACK’s PDT data retrieval.

Instructions

Microsoft Access database users:

  1. Navigate to C:\ > ProgramData > Teklynx > BACKTRACK > Common
  2. Open the Common Access database
  3. Expand the table labeled ‘PDTDATA’
  4. Delete all records in this table

SQL database users

  1. Open SQL Management Studio
  2. Connect to instance of BACKTRACK
  3. Expand Database/Common/Tables and select PDTDATA table, right click and select ‘Edit top 200 rows’.
  4. Edit the SQL statement, delete ‘Top (200)’ and execute (This function will display the entire database)
  5. Select all records in this table and delete
  6. Repeat steps 3,4 until no more records remain.
