This Instruction Article explains how to configure label designs to print a start and end label for each print run using the Layers feature in CODESOFT.
Instructions
- Start CODESOFT and open the label design file that requires a start and end label
- Select View > Layers to get the Layer window to pop up
- Design Start label:
- Select the “First label of the printjob” button (eye icon and blank page preview appears on top screen segment)
- Select the Eye icon (this causes CODESOFT to show the layout for the Start label which, when first creating it, should be blank)
- Move Layer window out of the way and use CODESOFT to design Start label
- Select the “First label of the printjob” button (eye icon and blank page preview appears on top screen segment)
- Design End label:
- Select the “Last label of the printjob” button (eye icon and blank page preview appears on bottom screen segment)
- Select the Eye icon (this causes CODESOFT to show the layout for the End label which, when first creating it, should be blank)
- Use CODESOFT to design End label
- Select the “Last label of the printjob” button (eye icon and blank page preview appears on bottom screen segment)
- Save label design
- Test print
