This article explains how to resolve the SENTINEL problem of deactivation due to label changes while the SENTINEL is active.
SENTINEL will deactivate ALL SENTINEL jobs if someone attempts to alter a label that is attached to an active SENTINEL.
If you need to make a change in a label file that is currently is use by an Active SENTINEL you must first turn off the SENTINEL. Failure to do so will result in forced deactivation of all SENTINEL job requiring a reset of the SENTINEL service.
Turn off the SENTINEL before making a change to the label file.
Issue Found: Windows 2008 R2, running SENTINEL 10 and CODESOFT 10.
